BASIC COURSE OF STUDY
All students have 6 periods of classes per school day.

Core classes are English/Language Arts (ELA), Mathematics (MTH), Science (SCI), History (HSS), and Physical Education (PE).

Electives class offerings are AVID 7, AVID 8, AVID Excel, Beginning Band, Beginning Choir, Beginning Art, CTE - Computer Science, CTE - Digital Media, Leadership, and World Language - Spanish. Most electives last the full school year.

Specialty Programs include Honors ELA, SCI, & HSS courses for 8th grade, Honors MTH courses for 7th & 8th grade, and the Spanish Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program for 7th & 8th grade.

Special Education services include a Curriciulum Support elective for the RSP program, and Transitional Academic Program core classes for the SDC program for grades 7 & 8.

English Language Development services include English Language Development (ELD) courses for 7th & 8th graders and in-class language supports from all instructional staff.
