Responsibilities of School Site Council

Responsibilities of School Site Council

  • Develop, approve and monitor the School Plan for Involvement
  • Attend meetings throughout the school year
  • Allocate funds for School Improvement Program, ELA/English Language Learner, Title I, etc.
  • Annually Review the School Plan- establish new budget, modify to reflect changing needs
  • Recommend approval of the plan by the District Governing Board
  • Meet on a regular basis
  • Monitor and evaluate programs
  • Participate in Compliance Review Process
  • Develop a system for ongoing communication within school and district groups
